Get found on Google. Turn that traffic into customers.

Next Business Ideas is an SEO and web development studio for businesses that need the phone to ring, not vanity metrics. We do the unglamorous work — technical fixes, content that ranks, pages that convert — and report in plain English.

Every audit is a real teardown of your site — 30 minutes, recorded, yours to keep either way.

What we do

Two disciplines. One standard.

We’re deliberately narrow: search optimization and the websites it depends on. Doing both means nothing gets lost between your SEO vendor and your web shop.

01

SEO that compounds

Search optimization for businesses that want leads from Google — not a monthly PDF full of jargon.

  • Technical audit
  • Keyword & intent research
  • Competitor gap analysis
  • On-page optimization
  • Content that ranks
  • Local signals
  • A live dashboard
  • A monthly Loom video
  • Lead attribution

02

Websites built to rank, load fast, and sell

Design, build, and migration for marketing sites and e-commerce — with SEO baked in, not bolted on.

  • Discovery & site architecture
  • Content before design
  • A performance budget
  • Design that serves the message
  • SEO baked into the build
  • Accessible by default
  • Migrations that keep your rankings
  • Hosting & monitoring
  • A care plan, if you want one

How it works

Boringly predictable, on purpose.

The same four phases on every engagement, whether it’s a $950 local campaign or a $40,000 rebuild. You always know what week it is.

01

Audit

Weeks 1–2. We read your data, your competitors’ data, and your market. You get the findings whether you hire us or not.

02

Roadmap

Week 3. A ranked list of what we’ll do, in what order, and what each item should move. Fixed scope, shared sheet, no surprises.

03

Execute

Months 2–6. We ship fixes and content every sprint — you’ll see work, not activity reports.

04

Compound

Month 6 onward. Rankings build on each other. This is when SEO gets cheap relative to what it returns.

Our no list

Five things you’ll never hear from us.

An agency is defined as much by what it refuses as what it sells. This is the refusal list.

  • 01Guarantee #1 rankings

Nobody can. Google says so on their own help pages. We show our work and let the results argue.

  • 02Lock you into a 12-month contract

After the roadmap phase, everything is month-to-month. Our 90%+ retention is the contract.

  • 03Send a 40-page PDF report

You get a live dashboard and a 10-minute video each month. If you want a 40-page PDF, we assume you also want a fax number.

  • 04Buy links from link farms

It works until Google notices, and then it really doesn’t. We earn links with things worth linking to.

  • 05Talk to you in jargon

“Engagement,” “synergy,” “domain authority score.” If we can’t explain why something matters in one sentence, we don’t do it.

The list of things we will do is shorter: show up, do the work, tell the truth about what it produced.

In their words

What clients say when we’re not in the room.

“We went from buying our own customers back from Angi to the phone ringing on its own. Best money we spend, and it’s not close.”

Owner

Family plumbing company, Midwest US

“They treat our budget like it’s their money. Twice they’ve told us not to spend it with them — once recommending ads over SEO, once talking us out of a rebuild we didn’t need yet.”

Founder

E-commerce home goods brand

“The old site was a brochure. This one is a rainmaker. I stopped apologizing for our website in meetings — that alone was worth it.”

Managing Partner

Law firm, Pacific Northwest

Client names stay out of our marketing by agreement — it’s in every contract. Happy to arrange a conversation with a reference on a call.

Straight answers

Questions we get every week.

How long until SEO shows results?

Expect early movement from technical fixes within weeks, real traction in months three to six, and compounding growth after that. We published a full month-by-month timeline because this question deserves a straight answer, not a shrug.

What do your services cost?

SEO retainers start at $1,500/month, local SEO at $950/month, one-time technical audits at $2,500, and website builds at $6,000. Every proposal is fixed-price with the scope attached — no hourly meters running.

Do you guarantee first-page rankings?

No — and you should run from anyone who does. Google says nobody can guarantee rankings. What we guarantee is the work: you see every change we make and exactly what it produced.

What platforms do you build on?

Next.js and React when performance and SEO control matter most, WordPress when your team publishes daily and lives in it, and Shopify for e-commerce. We recommend the platform after we understand your team, not before.

We’ve been burned by an SEO agency before. Why are you different?

Most of our clients said the same thing. Start with a one-time audit: you get the findings, the priority list, and an hour of our time to explain it — judge us on that before committing to anything monthly.

Do you only work with businesses in the US?

We’re a remote-first studio and most clients are US-based, but we work with English-language businesses anywhere. Time zones matter less than you’d think when reporting is written and recorded.
